My five-year old “nephew” Alex spent part of his birthday teaching me how to play “Cowboys and Indians”. My favorite part of his explanation of the rules?: The Indians Should Always Win!
(Alex’s mom is engaged to a wonderful guy who is Apache. When Alex runs around and play-fights, he proudly declares “I’m a white Apache warrior!!!” I’m hoping this precious child gives his teachers a little bit of hell when they teach him US History…)
